Dangerous news for your e-reader: Another Yolo with Kobo Plus feature.

Hello again, Reader,

YOLO with Kobo Plus is happening again. If you haven’t caught the event before, this means a lot of authors have placed their books in Kobo, in lieu of being tied to *whispers* Kindle Unlimited which requires them to be exclusive.

Including me. 🙂 With Kobo Plus, we don’t have to be.

If you've been meaning to check out my work, start a new series, or disappear into a fictional world for a while, this is a great time to browse, binge, and load up your library. There are over 400 romance books waiting for you on Kobo Plus!!!

What is Kobo Plus?

Ya know how we have Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and HBO Max? Each service has it’s own benefits, because it fulfills a need and want. Because YOLO (you only live once), and even on a budget we deserve to treat ourselves!

What if I told you there is another subscription service similar to the ones featured on Amazon that has THOUSANDS of romance books in both ebook and audio format and is available to customers in the US and many other countries? You can check for your country here -> https://geni.us/KPlus

That subscription service is through Kobo, and there is a two week free trial period!

Have you seen a post on social media? An ad on Facebook referencing a book you really want to read, only to find out it isn’t in KU? Well, it could be on Kobo Plus – and the borrowing format is the same as Kindle Unlimited.

You must have the app or the e-reader to get your free trial period of Kobo Plus – and to continue with the program, if you so choose.

There are so many amazing authors participating, and honestly, events like this are one of my favorite things about the reading community: readers discovering new books they may never have stumbled across before. In fact, events like this are what really got me curious, and with my old Kindle fritzing out like crazy lately, I decided to try a Kobo. Turns out, I really liked having a reading-devoted device again.

That's it. My new Kobo. I made an unboxing video, but onedrive ate it. *grr* (cloud storage, my foot!) I'll have to let you know when I cobble it back together.

In the meantime, take a look around the Kobo links above. My steampunk romance novel Vesta's Clockwork Companions is featured under the tropes in the sweet romance section. :)

As to my writing, yep. Still chugging along. I'm about halfway through the most recent edit.

Wish me luck! And in the meantime, happy reading (and apologies in advance to your sleep schedule)!

DearReader Sorry, I thought I did everything right, but it looks like the links to my two swap buddies got wasted somewhere. Here they are again: Christmas At Kellworth by Donna K. Weaver https://www.donnakweaver.com/ Synopsis: The best gifts are the ones you didn't know you were waiting for.Christmas 1853.Kellworth Manor glows with candlelight and evergreen, and Reese and Jem Taylor are exactly where they want to be, celebrating the season with the friends who feel like family. But the...

Hi, Reader I hope you’re doing well and are looking forward to a fine July 4th (if you celebrate). I’m feeling back to normal, this week and have been working hard revising that darned follow-up to Letters to Ellie, and am happy to report…that draft is done. If all goes well, maybe (medium-sized maybe) I can have it out before the end of October? We’ll see. I hate to commit, since the last revision went so horribly wrong. 🫣 For reading, I’m still plugging along in the Thelonious Monk book I...

Happy almost-Midsummer, my friends. I hope you're all doing well. I've had a ... bad week. After the last time we spoke, I did some weeding in the garden and ...wrenched my back. Again. So I've been down all week, not much work done on the follow-up to Letters to Ellie. Because I also hit a pesky point in my revision that needs my butt in the uncomfortable computer chair to accomplish. :( Naturally, right? But we'll get there. Bright side? I have less than 80 pages left to double check, and...
